Le Dejeuner Sur L’Herbe is a linen halter midi-dress. The dress in Bell Heather is made of a solid linen lilac lining and a semi-sheer cream gingham facing fabric; in Forget-Me-Not is made of a solid tan linen lining and a semi-sheer navy gingham facing fabric. The linen lining just covers the bust from the high waist to just below the neckline. The semi-sheer gingham fabric begins at the natural waist and continues to a mock turtleneck. Straps emerge from the same piece of cloth as the sheer bust panel at the turtleneck, side of the bust, and waist, and continue to the back where the can be tied to form bows or knots. The skirt piece of the dress is formed with both the linen lining and gingham facing pieces and is gathered tightly at the waist so that flows openly. At the top back panel of the skirt is a zipper adorned with a pearlescent ladybug button.
