Picnic Basket Round, Petit Four size, was created in collaboration with Julia Skergeth. Just like it’s namesake this bag is inspired by picnic baskets, and is petit-four sized and just large enough to fit an I-phone or wallet.
The body of the bag in Sweet Pea and Baby's Breath features double-faced red-dyed, or white dyed respectively Italian calf leather loosely interwoven, in Queen Anne's lace the bag is made of vegetable tan Italian leather which, will develop a patina over time enriching the color, becoming more beautiful the longer you wear it. Because the bag is loosely woven you can see the inside linen drawstring bag peeking through. The linen drawstring lining-bag in Sweet Pea is tan, Baby's Breath lilac, and Queen Anne's Lace white gingham.
At the top of the basket are o-rings embossed with the collaboration logo, these o-rings aren’t just cute, they’re also functional – they allow for the wrist strap to move around for comfort when holding the purse, and allow you to remove the wrist strap if you would prefer to switch to the crossbody strap. The adjustable straps are outfitted with a mini o-ring outfitted with pearlescent ladybugs.
